What we Discussed:

• Karen Joy Fowler - the author, her background, her books and how she came to write this novel.

• The different covers of the book.

• This was an unexpected read for some as it is not like the Jane Austen Bookclub, which some of us have read. 

•  We cannot say too much about the theme of this book without spoiling the unexpected twist which occurs on p77 .

• The book generated a variety  interesting issues for discussion,

• It was also an enlightening read, opening our eyes to happenings in this world that we know very little about.
